Information and communication equipment from Japan

A module to integrate, a finished communications device and a computer to deploy involve different responsibilities. Define the system role and the configuration you need to purchase.

Identify the item and the open work

KAGA FEI publishes separate module, evaluation-kit and integration-document references for WKR612AA1.[1] An evaluation kit and the module installed in your finished product are different configurations. Confirm the deliverable and evidence you need.

Include intended use, quantity and unit, destination and desired timing. State which specifications you control and which decisions need the supplier’s proposal.

Enquiry scopes, not an assurance that a supplier covers every product or task.

Choose the product family and system role

The same connector or interface name does not establish that products work together. Supply the full reference, relevant versions and the required function.

Work through a concrete sourcing decision

The WKR612AA1 example distinguishes module identity, antenna and installation conditions, and the host-level review that remains.

Preserve the configuration for repeat orders

Ask what hardware, firmware, software, approved components and test records identify the offered configuration. Record proposed differences and who can approve them.

For later orders, confirm change notifications, product-lifecycle information and support responsibilities. Identify production location and origin separately when they are purchasing requirements.
