Turn local sourcing requests into business.
For companies and independent professionals whose customers ask, "Can this be sourced from Japan?" You keep the relationship with the customer. HAM searches for suppliers in Japan and confirms specifications, quantities, lead times, and commercial terms. For transactions that close, compensation is agreed in writing case by case, according to the partner's role and the terms of the case. Non-exclusive.
This is not a job, a franchise, an inventory purchase, or a distributor program.
- Say yes to the request
- When a customer asks about sourcing from Japan, you no longer have to turn the request away.
- HAM does the work in Japan
- Supplier search, confirmation of specifications and terms, and coordination of quotations, samples, and export steps. Suppliers are handled in Japanese.
- Compensation agreed in writing, case by case
- For transactions that close, compensation is agreed in writing for each case, according to your role and the terms of the case. There is no inventory to buy and no joining fee.
Who this is for
Companies and independent professionals with ongoing contact with manufacturers, who are asked about equipment, parts, and materials.
- Engineering service, maintenance, and repair companies
- Companies that supply or arrange MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) materials and services
- Factory automation companies and system integrators
- Technical consultants to factories
- Independent engineers, former FAEs, and former equipment or procurement staff
Sourcing requests that start on the shop floor
The starting point is a concrete problem at a plant, the kind that trade data and advertising rarely capture.
- Replacing a discontinued part
- An older part for Japanese-made equipment is no longer available. HAM checks successor parts, compatible items, and machining from drawings on the Japanese side.
- Switching supplier or adding a second source
- A customer wants a Japanese supplier because of lead time, quality, or price. HAM structures the requirement and looks for companies that can respond.
- No reply from a Japanese company
- Inquiries go unanswered. HAM rewrites the request in Japanese, in a form suppliers can act on, and approaches them directly.
- Requirements that are not yet defined
- The customer does not yet know what to ask for. HAM works out the use case and conditions with you first, then approaches suppliers.
How the roles are split
What the partner does
- Initial check of the customer's background, intended use, and problem
- Connecting HAM: sharing the request and introducing the customer
- Local support on agreed cases: on-site confirmation, joining meetings, and bridging language
What HAM does
- Searching for suppliers on the Japanese side
- Confirming specifications, quantities, lead times, and commercial terms
- Coordinating quotations, samples, and the steps needed for export
- Communicating with suppliers in Japanese
Partners cannot commit to prices, lead times, availability, exclusivity, or agency rights without HAM's written approval. HAM does not always act alone on logistics, customs, certification decisions, quality assurance, or payment guarantees; roles are confirmed in advance for each case.

An inquiry or an introductory discussion does not by itself create a partner agreement or a right to compensation.
Compensation agreed in writing, case by case.
For transactions that close, compensation is agreed in writing for each case, according to the partner's role and the terms of the case. Rates are not published.
There is no inventory to buy, no joining fee, and no charge to inquire or register.
The relationship is non-exclusive by default. Exclusivity or agency rights for a territory or industry arise only through a separate written agreement.
This is
- A non-exclusive referral and collaboration relationship
- Compensation for closed transactions, agreed in writing according to role and case terms
- Open to companies and to independent professionals
- Roles and terms confirmed in writing for each case
This is not
- A job or employment
- A franchise or a scheme with joining fees
- A distributorship that requires buying inventory or paying in advance
- Unconditional exclusivity or agency rights
- A program that pays for inquiring alone
